Sandstorm Scuffle is an hour-long event that happens every Friday at either 10 server time or 22 server time in Palmon Survival.
During sandstorm, you and 29 of your selected guildmates will face off against another guild and fight over control of the map to gain as many points as possible.
On the map, there are structures, each of them generating differing amounts of points, and some also give occupation buffs as well.
To take these structures, teams will have to send squads to the buildings to capture and protect them against the other team.
Whichever team has the most amount of points at the end of the match wins.
Key Mechanic: Any of the injured Armigos you take in Sandstorm will automatically be healed outside of Sandstorm.
You can go as hard as you want and it will not affect your power outside of the game mode.
Just keep in mind that the speed-ups you use to heal Armigos are indeed real.
Once you teleport in and the 3-minute preparation phase is over, you can dispatch your squads to structures around the map.
You’ll see that some camps have numbers above them—that’s how many points they provide just by getting into Sandstorm.
If the camp is attacked and defeated, those points are taken away by your opponents.
Structure Overview
Let’s go over all of the Sandstorm structures. Here is a breakdown of what each building provides:
| Structure | Points Per Minute | Buff Provided | Opening Time |
| Solar Vault | 50 Points | None | Match Start |
| War Altar | 25 Points | +10 Pelmon Attack, Defense, & HP | 5 Minutes In |
| Healing Oasis | 25 Points | +25 Armigo Healing Speed | 8 Minutes In |
| Miracle Temple | 250 Points | None | 12 Minutes In |
- Solar Vaults: The first structures to be taken. There are four on the map, two on each side in the side lanes.
- War Altars: There are two on the map, one in front of each team’s spawn point.
- Healing Oasis: Located in the center of each of the side lanes.
- Miracle Temple: The final and most important structure, located in the center of the map.
Ranking the Structures
Now that we know all of the structures, here is how I’d rank them in terms of importance:
- Miracle Temple: The win condition. It gives 10 times more points than a single War Altar or Healing Oasis and five times more points than a Solar Vault.
- War Altars: Crucial because of the strong buffs they provide. Extra stats help you take more of the map.
- Solar Vaults: A great way to generate points. Securing the two on your side is priority; the opponent’s vaults are “nice to have.”
- Healing Oasis: Does not help with combat and provides few points. Only focus this if your team specifically needs to heal.
Rewards
It is important to win Sandstorm because you get significantly more rewards.
Guild Win Rewards:
- 5 Palmon Eggs
- 20 Golden Leaves
- 100 Dmium 5
- Extra Speed-ups and Resources
Individual Participant Rewards (Winning Team):
- 2K Prestige
- 100 Gremium 5
- Extra Speed-ups and Resources
Even if you don’t win, participating gives you Prestige, Golden Leaves, Evolution Energy Choice Chests, and Speed-ups. It is a massive boost to your account progression.
Tips and Tricks for Success
To make sure you have the best chance of winning, follow these core tips:
- Have 30 People Log In: The main reason guilds win is attendance. Having those extra squads out on the field is super important for map pressure. Use backups if your main 30 can’t make it.
- Only Use PvP Squads: Don’t throw random squads at buildings. You lose Armigos this way and might have to sit out. Use your PvP-ready squads to make your resources last the full hour.
- Be Patient: Sometimes inaction is the best action. If you are garrisoning a structure and no one is attacking, stay there. You are generating points. Remember: squads have to return to camp before being redeployed, which takes time.
- Communicate With Your Team: Use Guild chat, Discord, or voice. Ping “Krakens” (huge players) so your team can avoid them and focus on taking the rest of the map.
- Get Individual Points: Even if you are losing, make sure you reach 15,000 individual points to get all the rewards. You can do this by attacking structures, garrisoning, or attacking camps.
